Have you ever sought out to do a ton of things and you don’t get any of it done? Well that’s how my day went.
Was supposed to finish replacing my brake rotors, refill my coolant, do an oil/oil filter change, and reset my service light. And I only got the oil and filter done because between an engine I’m not used to and an oil spill it took me pretty much my entire afternoon. And because a battery in my cluster died I can’t reset my oil service light. What a fun day.

I wanted to at least get my laundry done but I spent 5 hours at the office because my work sucks. I’m too old to go to the laundromat in pajamas so I’m drinking beer instead.

From what I have read, yup. 533I e28, it’s before OBD and it’s german so it’s going to be as complicated as possible. It’s a good thing I need to fix the odo gears anyways.
